For seven years Ashebots Youth Robotics has been privileged to work out of space in the Dogwood Building at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, A-B Tech.
We fielded FRC 4016 for two years and FTC 7300 for five -- and what good fortune and incredible adventures we've had!
Now we have turned the page, handing over our equipment, supplies, and funds to our sister team, FTC 5549, at The Asheville School.
We are excited about what the Asheville School team will be doing in the next few years as they develop community inclusive STEM outreach efforts, in partnership with the UNC Asheville STEAM Studio.
Our Team Captain, Brayden, will be taking the reins of FTC 7300, down the road, and begin coaching an all-new version of the team -- wherever he may be in several years.
Meanwhile, we extend our deepest gratitude to each person and organization who has partnered with us and supported Ashebots Youth Robotics in so many ways over the years.
You, our community and our friends, have impacted us in positive, immeasurable ways. It's been an amazing ride.
